    Wilder, Fury, and spiritual/mental strength

Wilder and Fury will fight their rematch soon.

A lot is said about their fighting abilities or lack thereof.

But a major part of any fighter is their spiritual and mental fitness.

    Both fighters are very spiritual.
Fury seems to be a devout Christian, I believe of the Catholic variety (correct me if I’m wrong).
Wilder, although raised Christian, seems to be more in the New Age or perhaps Pagan (anyone know for sure what his beliefs are?). Just basing that from what I hear him say in interviews (speak it, believe it, receive it, also talking about alter-ego’s, spirit possession, and energy flow).

Surely their spiritualities help them to fight.

I also think mental preparations are key.
Wilder does a lot of meditation and visualization. I’m not really sure what mental training techniques Fury does (someone tell me please if you know).

With all that said, which fighter do you think has an EDGE mentally and spiritually going into this fight?

    And WHY?

Just seen this thread so apology's for the late reply.

I think possibly Fury.Hence visually Fury looks more natural for one eg no fancy haircut/earrings,tattoos, nose stud etc which what Wilder has.

Thanks for replying; I feel it is an interesting topic people don’t talk much about.

      You make a great point!

Their first face off, was one of the most fascinating face offs that I have ever seen 'Because it seemed to go beyond boxing, as Tyson Fury was questioning what Deontay Wilder believes etc'

        14 minute mark and onwards.
