As I said before, this uptick in Golovkin threads out of nowhere leads me to believe that either there are multiple alts from a few guys or Golovkin takes up way too much space in their head day in and day out. Idk...GGG has always boxed behind the jab when needed/against better punchers...and GGG's jab is really good/strong/easy to score.

So I think the point was that 'just scoring someone's opinion of a 'power punch'' is not really how you score a fight.

You score each round, scoring who you felt landed the better more effective damaging shots of that round...if I land 3 really good jabs, and you land 3 good 'power' punches...then that is very possibly an even round at that point.

You're scoring each punch for it's effectiveness and seeing who you felt did more damage at the end of the round...that's all it is.

I think we can all agree that a hard jab like Golovkins doesn’t do more damage than a hard power punch from canelo... lol thanks for making my point

Bro...you do realize that by definition, a 'power punch' according to compubox is anything that lands other than a 'jab'?

I think any decent person would agree GGG has a great/hard/scoring jab...Canelo landed a lot of shots in both fights that were really good scoring shots, and most (myself included) would rate those particular shots as being more effective than any random jab from GGG.

But Canelo also landed a lot of 'power punches' in both fights that were not that impressive at all...and the average jab from GGG was a better scoring punch than those...pretty clearly imho.

I do know that, and By the looks on their faces I think those “not so impressive” punches canelo landed evidently did more damage then then anything ggg did including his jab, well that’s all he did was land jabs... and let’s not even begin to mention body work.
