Its pretty bad when a world champ and 12 year pro's best win is a gatekeeper

Even with BIG BACKINGS Jermall Charlo and Errol Spence are insignificant in boxing. As is, sadly, Lomachenko. As is, even more sadly, Terrence Crawford. And those 4 guys have TR, ESPN, PBC, SHOWTIME, and CBS pumping them up. Charlo and Loma have never been on PPV and just dont interest the casual fan. Crawford has been a PPV BOMB and, despite having a fan friendly style and finishing most of his opponents, isnt a hot seller. Same exact thing applies to Spence except his PPV appearances have been marginally better...
Yeah I think to make it you do need the backing, or at least it's very, very hard to make it without it, but even with the backing you still need the ability to take advantage of the opportunities that you do get and the 'it' factor, whether that's personality, charisma or a killer KO punch... something that'll keep folks coming back, and something that your promoter can work with. I guess it's probably the combination of the 3 that ultimtely determines the guys are that really make it big.

Name one MW top 5 who wants a piece of Andrade. Even Charlo who needed such fight badly is scared of him.

Yeah that's fair. A combination. Good assessment

the saddest part is the same guys that defend andrade now used to bash him to no end till he signed with hearn and dazn...and their agenda couldnt be more clear

imagine if the pbc had canelo, jacobs and golovkin...and andrade...and andrade was still fighting luke keeler and the guys hes been fighting? theyd be killing the whole pbc and andrade included

the same guys will bash canelos choice of opponents, because they love golovkin and just have to bash anything he does, but never call out DAZN for andrades lack of quality fights...they point the finger at charlo instead because its easier and suits them

as i always say...imagine spence had no porter, mikey or brook on his resume(andrade doesnt have a single guy that good)...and he was offering jesse vargas money to come over to fight him on fox meanwhile hes got manny, danny, thurman etc sitting fight there for him to fight....lol

andrade gets a pass now because he rolls with hearn

              hes not scared...

in fact we have one guy that backed out of a fight with jermalls twin brother back in 2014 3 weeks before the fight....if you need help ill help you...it was andrade

charlo isnt scared...before andrade resigned with DAZN he was made an offer to come fight charlo on showtime

charlo doesnt want to go over to DAZN to fight him...thats all that is......and charlo is rolling with al haymon...who is much more successful in the US moving fighter...much more than hearn is.....in fact, without AJ, hearn isnt a power player in the sport....and hes not power guy in the US for certain

i think ole charlo will be ok trusting what haymon will do for him and has advised him to do....haymons track record over here is good....much better than hearn......without AJ hearn is a blip on the global boxing scene...

Boo boo is overrated and need to get his **** together asap and demand DAZN a decent opponent.

BJS might be the one or even Jacobs or Charlo but at this stage of his career he can't afford to fight cans over and over again because it might be comfortable for him but will not grant him retirement kind of money.

Couldn't agree more! In my opinion, Andrade missed his opportunity at a big fight because of the work he DIDN'T do in his contender days and when he was ranked.

All of the other guys at 154 were FIGHTING while Andrade sat out and let's be honest...he doesn't have a big enough fan base to demand anybody to fight him.

I like the guy, but, again....he pretty much missed his window when both Charlos, Williams, and a few others were making their bones.
