Comments Thread For: Wilder: As Far As Fury Knocking Me Out, He Don't Believe That Himself

Fury hurt Klit.
He stopped Chisora, Hammer whom Ortiz couldn't even stop.
I also think he hurt Wilder a couple of times.
In the 12th round, despite almost Koing Fury, Wilder endend up hiding behind is earmuffs for a reason, I think he was kinda hurt by Fury.
Wilder was also busted up on his face more than I had ever seen. Wilder usually end up his fights "face clean".
But I might be wrong.
I think Fury has decent power for a HW, and would knock most guys calling him "featherfisted" on this forum with a single jab.
Regarding Fury and Wilder, this is all trash talk to promote the fight and play mindgames.
It is working since we are talking about it right now.Comment

Wilder talks a lot of sense here.
Fury has never knocked out any big name fighter. Just glass-jaw bumsComment

Are you for real? I'm no Wilder or Fury fan but Ortiz and Fury being on equal levels...not a f-----ing chance.Comment

1st part - Yes, agreed. Anything can happen in boxing.
But the 2nd part - No. Not even close. Fury has 20KO's from 29. Wilder has 1 decision win from 42. That's a clear higher chance of KO by Fury.
I saw someone else say it; Wilder KO power is amazing but that doesn't mean his chin is as good. Fury can **** - do I think he will KO Wilder; No, but the chances are higher than a Wilder UD/MD.Comment

Fury punched wilder a lot, he did not hurt him. There was never a moment where he could have pounced and ended it. He also held klit a lot and neutralized his jab, he didn’t hurt him.Fury hurt Klit.

Chisora and hammer are not top level opponentsComment

That’s not a fair comparison. Both KO bums, that’s fair but wilder KOs everyone, Fury just kos bums. If wilder knocks fury down and hurts him, let’s say fury gets 2 subsequent Kd’s bc he’s still hurt but manages to hold his way through the round then a 10-6 round could lead to a decision win.1st part - Yes, agreed. True, it's not hard to imagine Fury losing on the cards. That’s not a fair comparison. Both KO bums, that’s fair but wilder KOs everyone, Fury just kos bums. If wilder knocks fury down and hurts him, let’s say fury gets 2 subsequent Kd’s bc he’s still hurt but manages to hold his way through the round then a 10-6 round could lead to a decision win.
Another example... let's say Fury comes out aggressive like he's promised to do. And he wins the first 2 rounds, but then gets caught and goes down briefly in round 3. This could throw off his gameplan. Now he's shaken, so he reverts back to the old Fury, dancing around the ring and throwing less.
So from the 4th onwards, Fury could lose a couple rounds on the judges' cards simply because his punch output decreased. Now it's round 6 and Wilder is ahead. If Fury picks up his pace again and boxes perfectly for the next six rounds, he can still win. But if he gets knocked down for a second or third time, Wilder wins by UD.Comment
