Not sure it's the whole of the UK that have a problem with Fury, although he has said things that have upset lots of people and the UK tabloids have been less than favourable towards him.

But Fury very recently said in a BT sport interview he's thought about leaving the UK but once you've lived in Morecambe it's hard to leave.

I tend to agree, I love the bay area.

Getting a bit deep here aren't we?

He's got plenty of UK fans. And plenty think he's a bit of a tit.

The difference between UK and US? We form our opinions. We don't allow someone like Bob Arum to tell us he's entertaining... and believe the hype.

I think he's a great boxer but not a great watch and he's one of very few boxers I don't bother listening to when interviewed. He's dull.

          .
Which is a shame.I think the way especially he got up from that 12 th round knock down against Wilder got him a lot of fans though.

Fury isnt perfect .Who is though. What I like about Fury though is he seems to be trying to change over a new leaf .Likewise has character. We all saw that in the way he got up in that 12th round knockdown and actually took the fight to Wilder after that.David Haye recently alluded to it in the fight analysis on Bt Sport prior to the rematch.

David Haye: "I don't know any other human being that could get up from that shot!"

I think this is a little inaccurate. The brits didn't take to Fury initially because of his outspoken views on ***s and ****sexuals. From what I can remember, he allegedly accused ***s of brainwashing people and I think something about ****sexuality should be made illegal. I'm sure there was a hate crime charge brought against him as well at some point?

He's since softened his opinions and now loves everyone!

I’d rather have a beer with a gypsy than a cup of tea with some bland/boring whatever you want to call them.

Yes.I like people who are straight talking .Its as Fury says he's banned cameras /journalists from his current training camp as he wants complete focus.Hence as he said when youve been knocked down and are in the trenches no cameras are going to get you up .Its all about you.

Straight talking and Fury don't belong in the same paragraph.

This is the guy that said:

Martin will KO AJ, he'll bet anyone
Parker Will KO, he'll AJ bet anyone £1,000
He Will fight Whyte for Diamond belt
                    He will KO Wlad
He will meet Wilder in the ring for KO
                    Donate entire purse to charity
                    etc etc..

He flips & flops on everything he says.

This thread is pretty ****** altogether though as I'm sure the majority of the fans at the Wilder fight were from UK.

"UK hate me doe" Nonsense he destroyed his own momentum retiring straight after Wlad fight for 3 years and his return was still pretty big news in UK. This is nothing but a marketing strategy to gain American fans by making them feel sorry for him.
