      ... This is true...

... but staging cards which mix top pro boxers with YouTube celebrities doesn't seem right for pro boxing... it's like staging a gig which has an symphonic orchestra as opening act and then Shakira...

Being a YouTube star and having beef and making millions in a boxing match seems like good work if u can get it. Why come up the hard way? Maybe they need a YouTube title? It’s two different leagues, no YouTuber is going to fight a legit pro no name. C.M. Punk shoulda fought another pro wrestler. Course he was a bit delusional.
They don't even need to have any beef, they are basically making their "Beef" up and then exploiting their millions of followers through DAZN subs, the good thing is they are not putting it on PPV and charging their followers 75 dollars for each fights.

If the real prizefighters actually make the fights that we want then we wouldn't be seeing them fighting on the undercard of Youtubers.

Hearn is the ONLY BUSINESS MAN on the planet who can get external dramas from other industries INTO a boxing ring. It’s ironic, you’ve got guys like 50 Cent whom was once part of the sport to promote and boxed a little himself, having disputes with other rappers. You’ve got a whole legion of fans fallowing that. Would they follow 50 and his rival into a boxing ring? Of course...

Doesn’t it produce more fans into boxing? Of course!

I believe that whoever defends Youtube fights in any way, shape or form is an idiot. The only exception is for people who don’t realize how wrong they are yet.

It won’t end because broadcasters are encouraging it because it drives buys/viewers/subscriptions.

The DAZN executives aren’t going worrying about losing a prospect or journeyman fight on the bill in place of some youtubers that bring in 100k extra viewers. They encourage it.

Hearn has already said Sky and DAZN are asking him for more. Hearn knows they are a joke, he even slated the events before he was involved. But he has a job to deliver for broadcasters.

It’s just the way things are. Money talks and these guys bring in money. Better get used to it.

It might end when one of them ends up getting badly hurt, which may happen eventually. Even if you look at that Gib v Jake Paul fight. It was clearly a horrible mismatch between someone that can box a bit and throw a shot, and someone that has no clue what they’re doing. Someone will end up hurt if they keep doing it under professional rules.

Wtf...Pure BS... Hearn can’t promote because he doesn’t make competitive matches. You tubers won’t outsell Fury vs Wilder. You tubers didn’t outsell Spence vs Porter. You tubers didn’t outsell Spence vs Garcia. You Tubers didn’t outsell Pac vs Thurman. You tubers didn’t outsell AJ vs Ruiz 2.

When the match is compelling there is no comparison. Hearn needs to up his game and make fights people want to see.

He can promote you tube matches and no one is stopping him. The point is stop calling it what it isn’t, professional boxing. Two guys driving their souped up Civics on a race track are not professional drivers. Stop with the nonsense already.

Thank you Groves for being another person that actually cares about the Sport.

No wonder boxing keeps shooting itself in the leg we as fans co-sign with every bs fad that comes along.

These idiots always feel like topics need to be polarized. No one is trying to STOP You Tube boxing. In the past we had celebrity boxing, we watched it so what.

What’s wrong is Hearn’s punk @ss calling this Professional Boxing. If these are professionals then fight other professionals. Get into the ranking system. You can’t have professionals in a sport that are out side of the very structure that makes it a sport.

Boxing has enough issues with out Hearn trying to call people with no boxing pedigree professionals. Playing pop warner doesn’t make you a professional football player. Playing in the CBA even doesn’t make you a professional basketball player it makes you semi-pro.

There has to be a standard to why we are watching and the quality needs to be protected. Just because Hearn couldn’t promote interest in free money doesn’t mean the whole sport needs to endure an “open door policy.”

If you can’t understand this you are in the wrong place. You don’t care about the sport and you don’t know the history. Start a You Tube boxing site. Bring forth the gossipy beef and take this thing to new heights. Who the **** cares. Just stop acting like it is part of this sport you ****ing idiots.
