If Canelo was truly chasing greatness as he said he was when he went to 168, he would've fought Smith then instead of someone that smith ko'd in 1 round in fielding. Now, after smith's poor performance in his last fight, he really should get himself a solid win before getting the Canelo fight. But, if Canelo follows his typical blueprint, Smith looking as bad as he did actually enhances the likelihood of Canelo picking him.

This is what I dont get. It doesnt go both ways.

GGG picked Canelos gloves in the rematch, picked the judges, picked the referee, and refused to do any press conferences until the weigh-in, demanded higher purse, etc.

Then GGG DEMANDED (after losing) that the 3rd fight HAD TO BE IN NEW YORK

And this guy "for truth" suggests Canelo uses special clauses???

Notice how GGG and Abel cried for WEEKS about Jacobs skipping the next day weighin, but Canelo and GBP hardly talked about it. At all.

Notice how people constantly bag on Canelo for his close fights (Lara, GGG1, Trout) but nobody talks about how GGG wont give a rematch to Jacobs or Dervachenko. People whine about judging, but Dervenchenko beat GGG and nobody whines about those judges...especially not GGG nor 4truth

GGG had to literally FIRE HIS TRAINER because he told GGG he lost to Canelo in the rematch - which he did. But that's the level of DIVA GGG is...like its honestly confusing how so many people cant see his diva career....

- avoided good opponents entire career (younger Dervenchenko, rematching Jacobs, BJS, Andrade, Lara, Cotto/Canelo at 155-157, Ward), but ALWAYS signed to fight part-time fighters in Vanes, Rolls, Monroe Jr., and 99% of his "resume"...hell he wouldnt even give Kell B4ook 1 pound. He demanded Kell move up 13 pounds to fight him...
- diva demands
- fires trainer for telling him the truth
- says he fights for belts then accused Canelo of being a "businessman"....only to say he "doesnt fight for belts" and holds out for more money (business)
