There were a lot of foul filled matches but one that sticks out for me is

Naseem Hamed VS. Cesar Soto

It had everything: hits on the break, after the bell, rabbit punching, low blows. At one point Hamed picked Soto up over his head and slammed him into the canvas. The fight should have ended in disqualification numerous times for either fighter but the ref had a meltdown and let it get away from him.

I dunno, man. Im rewatching that Hamed Soto fight and it’s even dirtier than I remember. Hamed is using those McGregor shoulder strikes to Soto’s face in clinches and they keep wrestling one another into the ground. Holding and hitting, intentional head butts, backhanding... If someone actually sat down with a pen and recorded every infraction then the number would be unbelievably high. Would be an untouchable record because no fight this dirty ever went the distance.
