Peter Nelson made the right choice getting out of boxing and I guarantee he and HBO don't have any regrets what so ever getting out when they did

This sport has gone to SH#T! Fighters getting paid a lot of money for easy fights so it is ZERO urgency to step up and make bigger fights

I do miss Roy Jones Jr, the rest I never really cared about, Max Kellerman is OK too and RIP Harold Lederman as well

HBO Downfall was trying to compete with PBC and trying to sign more fighters exclusively to their Network then struggle to find those Exclusive Fighters quality Dance Partners at the time

I enjoyed HBO. Lampley was a good speaker even though he said some really ****** things and he was often biased. I enjoyed Roy Jones analysis and Manny Steward was pretty good too. Max Kellerman is often pretty good too. Old man Merchant was a a cranky old curmudgeon but his musings were funny, sad and poetic at times. The final few years of HBO seen Jim Lampley go senile and we would frequently see him break down sobbing or trying to keep his emotions in check....The drinking and old age turning him into a mess of estrogen. That was an interesting and entertaining descent into oblivion.
