At times Porter tried that, but he got countered coming in, and was struggling with Ugas physical strength. I don’t think Ugas can really punch worth ***** but he is strong, the way he kind of handled Porter’s pressure when he did bring it.

He is also very sharp, short, and quick at getting shots off as you try to get inside, he was catching Porter cleanly on the way in.

Imo its just a bad stylistic match up for Porter. Spence suited Porter better because he was in there to **** with him, also Spence doesn’t do what Ugas does offensively, styles make fights.

That being said Spence handles Ugas tho, same styles make fights theory. If Spence boxes, a Porter rematch would be much cleaner and concrete. Although I still think Spence got the job done 8-4 + KD.
Porter was nowhere near as aggressive against Ugas from Round 1 on like he was against Spence. He started out boxing and showboating for the first 4 rounds. And Ugas has no power. Spence caught the linebacker flush on the chin with power shot after power shot and Porter kept coming, kept throwing and convinced (fooled) half of NSB that he won the fight clearly.

That was NOT how Porter fought Ugas. Nowhere close, even before he took a shot.

He fought Spence like he was fine dying in the ring.

He fought Ugas like he was ready to cash out and retire.
