Everybody gotta get out of being in love with Bob, Haymon and Hearn. It's bad for the sport.

Or maybe everyone could've listened to me when I kept telling them this had nothing to do with Haymon & PBC

Damn, I liked the idea of Bob being bothered as hell by Taylor's first fight with TR being under somebody else lol

WBA WBC IBF was on the post when Sampson won it saying “Haymon strikes again!” Lmaoooo

Ever since I proved how much of a fraud he was after lying about Showtimes streams in their ratings I haven’t seen him around

Whats Al gots to do with that fighter? I just heard of him a few weeks ago iirc. Is Al even his advisor?

Sounds more like a Sampson problem than a Al problem.

That's insane that Haymon couldn't loan the cash under the hood. I guess Fortuna and Benavidez wouldn't be prepared for this bout?

PBC could've used the action with Josh Taylor. Seeing how they got lucky with Ruiz as an underdog for AJ they would've risked it with the Thai guy and have them belts ready for???? Broner? Lol.

Benavidez or Fortuna on the card. He'll even put Rosario back in quick for that card.

It's not about Josh Taylor "signing" with PBC. Lol. It's about delivering a good card, product, as DiBella states it.

                Cheap ass Haymon.

But why would Sampson do this just to give up the fight to Top Rank anyways?

That doesn't add up guy. Seems like Haymon initially backed him but then wasn't sold that the guy could actually beat Taylor so retracted. The plan would be to get Taylor's belts from him over to the PBC side and try to make some stars at 140. Possibly line Tank up to fight for them and become a 4 division champ or something. Or a guy like Robert Easter, there's plenty of talent over there.

But my guess would be that the belts were the main target. Sampson wouldn't do this for no reason just to look like a fool in the end...something or someone didn't follow through and wasn't on board with it after winning the bid.

There's no need for all the mental gymnastics. Sampson was trying to squeeze more money out of Top Rank so they gave him a large bag to step aside and let TR + MTK promote the event.
