There were delusional MMA fans who thought McGregor could beat Floyd in the ring and now there are delusional boxing fans who think Crawford could beat McGregor in the octagon.

Imagine Arum lets bud go into MMA and dude gets utterly destroyed and his face caved in.

MMA is much more than wrestling/grappling

Just because Connor is good in the UFC doesn't mean he will be good at grecco roman wrestling or another form of grappling.

        I agree on all accounts

Bob is senile as f#ck or I've severely underestimated his trolling ability.

Odds on Bud winning by pin in a MMA fight over McConor or anyone are probably +1,000,000,000.

Wrestlers have given McConor the most problems in MMA during his UFC run. Chad Mendes had some good moments against him & Khabib bulldozed him.

That said idk that I trust Bud has high level UFC quality wrestling skills to keep McConor at bay if he tried to take Bud down. The good thing for Bud would be that McConor isn't a big fan historically of taking fights to the ground so its very posssible this could be purely a standup fight..at least til McConor got hurt or desperate.

The main issue for Bud would likely be kicks & knees. Obviously boxers aren't used to dealing with legs coming at them so that would be a big issue more than likely.

If only wrestling and punches were allowed I would take Crawford to win. Basically a dirty boxing match like the bare knuckle days.

Logan Paul would beat both of them easy.

Again, Bob ain't talking about UFC, he talking about wrestling, specifically grappling

It doesn’t matter because they arent greco wrestling which I’d probably even give the edge to Conor at this stage. Bud wasn’t an olympic wrestler dude he wrestled as a kid afaik.

Crawford has an edge in boxing ONLY. That doesnt exactly mean he has the edge in standup in MMA where he isnt used to the range or the kind of kicks and knees and clinches used. He’s got a chance standing, but it’s not as clear cut as we’d think.

Conor is a better wrestler and has real BJJ skills.

Hell, Conor would beat Bud in a greco wrestling match right now...

It’s different worlds but there’s no substitute for the amount of time MmA fighters put into wrestling/grappling in comparison to the zero time boxers do.

MMA guys put time into boxing too, that don't make them good boxers.

Wrestling is as far away from Connor as Boxing is, maybe further.
