All of that is true, however Charlo also portrays himself as being his own boss. That's why people want him to at least come back with a counter-offer for Eddie Hearn and Demetrius Andrade. In regards to risk and entertainment, I know it's a business but as a fan I don't want to see Charlo in against over-matched opponents just because it's less risky and more "entertaining"
For example, I'm sure that Jermall Charlo could fight James Kirkland and win by brutal KO. It would be incredibly low-risk and I'm sure Charlo would be paid well like you described. Sounds like awesome business, except I don't work for PBC, or Top Rank, or ESPN. These "A-sides" can fight whoever they want, however it's only natural that fans would be more intrigued to see Charlo in a percieved 50-50 fight against Demetrius Andrade than a guaranteed highlight reel KO against an over-matched opponent
