No, fighting Chris Eubank for $3.5 million would not be good. Not when there is $7 million on the table.
And you can forget about Canelo. He isn't going to give Charlo $15 million just because he beats Eubank and "another good name."Comment

He should look at Adrian Broners situation and realize loyalty means little down the line.
He will regret not taking advantage of his opportunities. He’s not a superstar and not a draw and never will be on his own. If DAZN is willing to overpay him so be it.
But don’t complain about lack of opportunities when you piss away a career payday and life changing money.Comment

you guys still refuse to get it...still refuse to snap out of your fantasy world where all the guys make the best fights out of honor for the sport and don't care about money or careers or futures lol
it must be nice living in that bubble
ask yourself....is al haymon pretty good at what he does? did he not make wilder the 4th highest paid guy in combat sports last year? the little known wilder? as he not gotten tons of fighters paid fairly well over the years? has he not been involved in some of the biggest fights the sport has ever seen?
so at the end of the day...if charlo trusts haymon...and haymon says "listen you going over there to fight would suck for my brand....and its a risky fight...potential stinker....I will get you the money youre missing out on...ill increase your money each fight in increments...and ill get you good fights....and eventually ill land you a big one"......would charlo be ****** to trust him?Comment

This is ultimately why Dibella was let go...... It also makes sense why Showtime gave Wilder $20M to fight Breazeale on regular TV. They would have had to match the money that DAZN offered Wilder for any non-AJ fight.... PBC and Haymon are willing to lose money on Wilder as long as DAZN doesn't get to stage the undisputed fight and bolster their sub base as a result.
With Charlo, it might be the case that he is being brainwashed into refusing deals to fight on DAZN with promises of PBC delivering the big money at a later date but as ShoulderRoll pointed out, his situation is not the same as Wilder and there may not be light at the end of the tunnel for him.Comment
