Demetrius Andrade has accomplished a milestone in boxing history tonight

First time in boxing history when half of the crowd left just before the main event starts. Reminder that DAZN is also paying Andrade millions to fight for them.

He was looking for one big shot instead of just teeing off on him. Had it Andrade fighting Willie Nelson he would have finished it inside 6.

Eddie's spoke about this before. A lot of people turned up thinking Jackass paul was the main event and left when it ended. Most of them prob dont know who Andrade is and have little interest.
However don't blame EH for that, blame the US boxing set up over there because boxing has no place in cities like Miami, just like when EH put on cards in Chicago or Boston, they initially struggled to sell tickets. That only improves with presence and notability..and that takes years.
It's not like boxing just took off in the UK overnight, it took years to build up..and the US is way bigger meaning what happens in NY, Chicago etc means very little to people living in other place.

No, Lara vs Guasha was the first to accomplished that. There was only like 100 people left in the crowd during the 3rd round.

He made Wilder look like a skilled boxer. He fought like a long armed crab. The ref was looking for an excuse to give him a KO win. His fights are about as ugly and sloppy as they come. This is the guy GGG, Canelo and Jermall are all ducking??????? I think all three of them would knock his sloppy self out.

Atlanta hadn't had a major fight since Holyfield. Tank, who isn't from Atlanta, did a $2.5 mil gate there and had the city buzzing. And if you're from the US you know Atlanta isn't considered a major sports town. A lot of transplants there with no affiliation to the local teams

GGG should take andrades belt. Canelo might give him the rematch after that..then he can retire after that.
having at least fought Jacobs, canelo x3 , derev and Andrade
. Finally some.respectable names.to his resume. You add murray, Monroe, brook etc He'll of had a decent career and be remembered fondly especially if he could win those
