I didn't prop up either guy hard going in, have to date viewed both as solid but not as certified "Tank killers" or anything, and basically found both's chances fairly strong. Diaz produced what is probably his best performance to date (that I've seen at least) and dominated this handily, but the refusal of some to give so much as an inch and concede that Farmer was basically malfunctioning, for lack of a better term, for most of the night and that this almost assuredly affected his performance to some degree is kind of insane. To acknowledge that isn't necessarily to take a dump on Diaz's glory, but whatever I guess. Sometimes what could be grounds for a convenient excuse to downplay a loss/win has some real validity, it's how it goes. I can easily see the same result with a 100% Farmer, but it's a repeat I wouldn't mind seeing at all personally.

That was a very good scrap but JoJo Diaz proved to be the better man last night. He simply outworked and outhustled Tevin Farmer. There were a lot of nice exchanges in that bout as well but Diaz appeared to get the better of them. So kudos and much respect to him on his championship victory!Comment
