Why do some forget that GGG accepted the Ward fight in 2013?

the only thing being disputed is by you that GGG clearly days "andre ward is too much for me"

And I still can’t over that BS with Saunders making it seem like he turned down $7 million which was actually $1.5 million.
GGG has always gotten his deals done pretty easily it seems...Jacobs pretty clearly dragged out the deal to delay that fight, and there were huge numbers at stake for GGG-Canelo so I don't blame either side for playing hardball there...every percentage point was big money.
Btw - you sound very casual when you say Ward 'wasn't having fights cancelled or delayed all the time' lol...come on bro...that was Ward's MO basically his entire career man...he sued his promoter 3 times for God's sake

You, of all people, not realizing that when speaking a foreign language, such statements happen all the time, is an incredibly bad look...but have no fear, I'm sure you will respond here with a similarly vague post which proves my point exactly.
Everyone knew what GGG was saying there...he was tired of talking about Ward/Ward using his name to generate attention for Ward.

Listen to the whole video and what comes across to me is more that he's saying the same as many fighters say when asked a question about a possiblre future matchup right before a fight 'I ain't thinking about Ward right now, I'm thinking about the opponent I got in front of me'. It's just his English is so bad that he doesn't experess himself properly. You never heard a non English speaker express something badly before now, or express yourself badly in a language you ain't very good at?
Funny that dudes on here actually mock Golovkin's poor command of the English language on here on the regular, but yet on this one occasion are insistent that there couldn't possibly have been any misunderstanding or miscommunication. Dude actually talks in rehearsed soundbites and is usually just lost when he ain't answering a question that's in the script.
That said I will acknowledge he didn't look particularly pleased to be asked about Ward either.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 01-31-2020, 04:00 PM.

Originally posted by DreamFighter View Postits probably a lie, ward would have no reason to fight a guy who had not yet won a title in the ring, and from the lower division, noone would pay.
its always 'would have' when the denominator is GGG taking and winning a big fight.
Meanwhile Ward had five top contender bouts, 4 champions. 4 elites bouts amongst them
all at the age when GGG was just stepping up to fight a titlist first time ever.Originally posted by DreamFighter View PostGgg - ' no, andre ward is too much for me'
so lets get this cleae, ggg fans read this as ' no, andre ward is too much for me to talk about' ?

You really need to work on your English skills my friend, certainly before you try and claim intellectual superiority on here and attempt to talk down to people...all the while you demonstrate the very errors that you are trying to ridicule someone else for, and you point out those errors in others' lingo without the slightest realization that you are guilty of the same mistakes.

You have to do better than this. Post links for your sources. And not from obscure websites, post links from real reports. GGG said he would fight Ward at 164lbs, and would go up to 168 to fight JCC Jr or Carl only. He said no to Ward at 168. That’s the truth.
The only official reports that came out in 2013 regarding GGG vs Ward is Ward calling out GGG.
You’ve been here long enough, you should know better than to just post nonsense with no sources.

Only thing I can find when I put “Golovkin calls out Ward 2013” on google:

Can someone please link me to where GGG says he wants to fight Ward in 2013? All I see is articles hyping up GGG’s fights vs Adamu and Stevens.
