Bro...come on...poor example...you chose the one fight Floyd had vs the only other guy who comes to mind for having judges in his back pocket...you could point to one terrible card on average for Canelo fights for probably his whole career since that Floyd fight.

I don't hate on Floyd...he was great imo...only real close fight I saw of his was vs JLC and I thought it was a 7-5 either way fight with an edge to Floyd...never watched a lot of his fights though, such as the ODLH and full Maidana fights which some mention...I thought he beat Pac 8-4 pretty clearly though.

But yeah he certainly won like 11-1 on cards in a lot of fights where he deserved 8-4 or so...my view anyway.

I think the McGregor fight is a good example of it...Floyd pretty clearly lost the first 3 rounds...he hardly threw a punch...and 2 of 3 judges gave him 2 of those rounds.

He was the A-side in boxing/Vegas and made everyone rich when he fought...to beat him you had to KO him...and he just got great cards in Vegas because he made everyone so rich.

Still a great fighter though just was protected in that sense.

Middleweight is 155-160 and both Canelo and Cotto won the MW title at a weight other than 160. They dealt with it like adults.

Ggg refused to fight them at any weight other than 160. So GGG waited and got older. When the fights finally happened he was done.

Canelo 1 might have - maybe - been a 7-5 win, but the 6-7 draw was fine.

And Canelo 2 was a loss or a draw in best case scenario

There is no “160 Weight Title”

If a fighter comes in at 156 while the other tips at 160, who’s the “Middleweight?”

“Canelo weight” weren’t “catchweights” with the only exception to KHAN WHO NEEDED it. Are we to say that Canelo should’ve fought Kirkland, Angulo or Lara anywhere in between 155-160? Were Angulo, Kirkland and Lara considered threats at higher weights that Canelo need 155?

Canelo consistently fought at 154-155 since before GGG. If Floyd was allowed to stay at 147 because of merit and not defend his 154 title then I don’t see what the deal is with Canelo doing his business in fair fights at 155.

At the same time you GGG cheerleaders blasted any criticism and gave excuses for “154-168 is easy” while you cry about others.
