(huge yawn) Parker loses every fight he steps up in. He is a classic gatekeeper who can beat the ok guys but will lose to the best of the division. He just doesn't have it in him to win the big ones. He went toe to toe with Andy Ruiz (the fit version) and beat him, and became the heavyweight champ of the world. Something AJ failed at.

AJ was too scared to go toe to toe with blimp version of Ruiz.

Parker is one of the top 4 best in the division which is why none of the 'ok guys' want to fight him.

I like Parker, want to see him do well but he's not in many entertaining fights. He's athletic, has some pop and appears to have a chin. At most levels he will do just enough to win (Leapai, Cojanu, Ruiz, Takam, Fury, etc) and at higher levels do just enough to lose (AJ, Whyte),

His approach to fights will make this the standard form for most matxhups. The irony is that I think he could be much more than he is but it's just not in him.

Why couldn't any big fights be made now after a stay busy fight with Leapai? Why do we not have an opponent four weeks out. David Higgins was talking up the quality of the opponent so what gives. I expect this fight to be rubbish and a waste of time.
