Hardly anyone mentions someone by the name of
MUHAMMAD ALI!!!!!!!! Ever hear of that guy before?
Then there's George Chuvalo. Never knocked down in 90 heavyweight fights. These are heavyweights hitting him.

Seen Vitali getting sparked in a kicking boxing fight so I cant have him.

Ali fought absolute killers and too horrendous shots at time that would KO 90% of heavyweights. He might have fallen from some of those but he got back up and recovered fast

Froch man. Dude could take a shot. Pascal and Johnson really put it on him and he just stood there. Groves hit him with a trainstopper and he got up. Guy took some punishment, well.

I think it's for the same reason people didn't immediately think of Floyd.

We don't think of Toney or Floyd getting hit in the first place because they were such defensive masters.

But every time they did get hit, both held up.

there is a big difference being knocked out by a punch and kick, or even knee.

we are talking boxing..so Vitali is definately there!

Samuel Peter pounded Toney in both fights.

I'm surprised no one brought up Mayorga. This guy put his chin up for people to take their best shots and walked through them. He definitely has or had a chin on him.

Missed Toney, and he’s one of my all time faves. Good call.

Upset with myself that I didn’t name Chuvalo

Lots of great chins mentioned here, so I’ll throw one into the mix that hasn’t been mentioned: Kid Gavilan. In 143 professional bouts, “The Cuban Hawk” was never stopped. And, to the best of my knowledge, he was knocked down only once in all that time. This, despite an all-action style that made him a favorite of 1950’s prime time television.
