For me age doesn’t really come into it. Why? Because he is 30 not 35 or 37.

I didn’t think he would beat Bara from what I saw in the Ohara fight, I didn’t think he would beat Prograis from what I saw in the bara fight, but he improved in every one of those situations.

If you fighting bums then you obviously would take a longer route to improve your skills.

But if you take on a good number of decent competition then you can improve and iron out your issues.

I'm glad that Ramirez is taking the initiative to take on Taylor sooner rather than later, because it is going to get harder and harder for the Scot to continue to make 140. Ramirez seeking undisputed rather than milking titles for easy money. That makes him a real fighter, and good for him.
