Comments Thread For: Hearn Sees Saudi Arabia Beating Out UK To Secure Joshua-Fury

Last month, Anthony Joshua traveled to Saudi Arabia to get revenge, when he outboxed Andy Ruiz over twelve rounds to recapture the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight titles. Saudi Arabia dropped down a heavy amount of money to beat out all of the possible locations and venues who were trying very hard to secure the Joshua-Ruiz rematch.

Fury vs Joshua deserves to be at Wembley stadium in front of 90,000 fans, anything less than that is piss poor.

Greed? It’s a business and investors throw their money behind solid business decisions. That’s why I always laugh when fans come down on ball players who leave for more money and cry “no loyalty.” Shiiiiiiiiiii t let another company come to you (not you in this instance) and say “ we will double your annual income if you come to our company. Almost in every single instance loyalty be damned, that boy is gone. Whiners are hypocrites.

How do the Brits feel that they are losing their biggest fights to the Saudi's? I thought the UK was the home of boxing

Tend to agree.I have no problem as a boxing lover if Fury fights Joshua in Saudi.

The main thing is for me is the best fighting the best and if Saudi can offer more money to host it then so be it.

Agree as well. I’ll say however I do not like that Saudi Arabia is making a money move on what is considered a UK and US sport
