This would be a horrible move and could end Crawford's boxing career. If he gets a shoulder or elbow twisted out of it's socket or a bad knee or ankle injury he can end up out commission indefinitely. Take the Porter fight and fight another day.

This seems like just an attempt to boost Crawford's profile. I don't think it will happen.

If they ever get serious about boxers vs mma fghters they need to do a half-way fight. With some boxing rules and some mma rules. That's the only way it could be competitive.

It's doubtful the best boxer could even compete with a below average MMA fighter let alone one of the best. The same goes the other way round.
