This year has been painfully slow as far as boxing goes, but Thursdays DAZN card is clearly the best card put forth this year by any network. 3 world title fights, as well as prospect Anthony sims and Amanda serrono.
Demetrius Andrade-Luke keeler
I have great resentment for andrade both as a fighter and a person. That could be playing into this, but I think everybody is gonna be surprised or even shocked by keelers performance. I watched his last fight, n was somewhat impressed by him. He has deceptive power, is incredibly scrappy, n can take a shot. Regardless of my disdain for andrade, he may be the most overrated fighter in boxing right now. His best win is still a split decision against vanes martirosyan. I'm not quite tabbing keeler for the upset, but 70 to 1 odds are ridiculous. I do expect keeler to give him as much as he can handle, especially early. Andrade 115-113 in a surprisingly entertaining fight.
Farmer-Diaz
I don't consider either elite fighters, but they are good enough to be world titlist. This is a 50/50 fight. I didn't see it, but apparently jojo Diaz struggled with a crafty boxer in his last fight. Farmer has improved immensely over the last several years and has notched some impressive performances, while I think Diaz is a bit overrated. Farmer by split decision based off the difference in skill(mainly speed).
Roman-MJ
I think Roman is being underrated by the oddsmakers who have him as a clear underdog. MJ has done literally nothing as a pro, and Roman IS the unified champ. I don't like the way MJ fought in his last fight, with his hands low n seemed to lack focus at times, and wasn't driven to get a limited fighter outta there. MJ is gifted n clearly more talented, but Roman's experience in world class fights is something MJ lacks. If MJ boxes n moves I think he will have an easier time and win clearly, but something tells me he will stand and trade more often than not. I'll take MJ by split decision, in a fight that could go either way.
Another awesome fight on the card is Anthony sims first real test against hard hitting roemer angulo. I think sims is a legitimate prospect, but I don't see his first step up being an easy victory.
Amanda serrano has also been added to the card, although it's a guaranteed stoppage within 3.
As with most, I could care less about the youtubers fight.
