Why hasn't Golden Boy signed anyone for Canelo to fight?

Remember when Floyd was the #1 PPV star Haymon stocked up on welterweights and so that Floyd would always have someone to fight every May & September. Golden Boy hasn't signed anyone for Canelo and it's already hurt them twice. Modded September date in Vegas because of Arum sabotaging the Kovalev fight & DiBella and Hearn sabotaging the Dervychenko fight. Now there's talk he might miss the May Vegas date because he's the B side in Japan. His other options are Hearn's UK fighters that no only America cares about or wants to see.

Golden Boy has Canelo is a terrible position. They'll constantly have to overpay guys to get a fight and give in to demands they shouldn't have to in order to hold those September and May dates in Vegas.

They want to find someone who seems legit but who can be hamstrung for a price. It isn’t all that simple

Read what i said. Why haven't they built/signed a stable of fighters that Canelo can fight?

You're complaining about Charlo and that's my point. They wouldn't have these problems if they'd signed/built fighters

What kind of argument is this? They don't need to sign people for Canelo to fight. They just need to make good fights for him. I don't care if the opponent is signed to dazn or not.

          You're miserable.

Floyd often chose/announced his opponents two months prior, giving them the least amount of time to train and prepare for the fight. Haymon stacked 147 with a bunch of hyped up stiffs like Ortiz, Maidana and Guerrero, duped the casuals into thinking they were legit A-level fighters.

Canelo has a lot of options and unlike Floyd he’s not looking to fight bums he’s looking for the best sure a tune up here and there but canelo likes a challenger unlike Floyd .

30-33 years old Maidana without pillow gloves was a real threat.

In hindsight it turned out that way, and he was robbed in the first fight. But, he lost to Khan, and when Floyd asked his fans who he should fight next, they chose Khan, Floyd chose Maidana.

Charlo should have taken the fight.
