Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Making an Art of Fantastical Storytelling

It was a chilly February day and Tyson Fury was in particularly fine form. He was sat in a room at the art deco Midland Hotel in his home town of Morecambe, with his back to some windows looking out on Morecambe Bay and beyond to the Irish Sea. And he was in the mood to tell a story.

    Great article, thanks

Fury's unpredictability makes him a nightmare to face as an opponent. When he's on form, it's hard to resist his mindgames

I thought it was a good point made about Fury's unpopularity in 2016, I remember many people in the gym at that time saying that he's just a d2ckhead, and so on. Funny how fickle we all can be

Compulsive lying is also a known trait of some personality disorders, such as antisocial personality disorder. Trauma or head injuries may also play a role in pathological lying.

While everyone lies, pathological lying is different. Also known as mythomania or pseudologia fantastica, it's the chronic behavior of compulsively or habitually lying. We'll explain how pathological lying is different than other types of lying, the root cause, and how to cope if you know a pathological liar.

Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder was not lying when he said he scrambled Tyson's brain.

Look Iqbal. It's not Fury's fault that he's the biggest personality in boxing. It is what it is. Wilder can only dream of possessing a tiny percentage of Fury's intelligence and charisma.

Tyson has no charisma denium, there is nothing genuinely attractive about this poor fellow. Tyson's anti-social disorders : compulsive lying, depression, bipolar disorder and substance abuse ( drug and alcohol addiction ) only evokes disgust and pity.

Tyson is often embarrassed that hes not the champion he would like to be for the fans, hes sad, feels guilt and lacks self-esteem ( like you ), so Fury has to mask his shameful defects as a human-being and deceive the public by fabricating fantasies.

Only suckers like you buy into his deceit.

Why do I have a feeling we wouldn't be reading this article if Wilder v Fury 2 was on Sho PPV.

He writes for the Guardian. That's why he'd have a problem with Fury.

Preach. Fury gets so many passes when it comes to drugs, drinking, doping, lying, saying absurd/offensive things, etc. But he does have the gift of gab...
