This fight shouldn't have gone past five rounds. Danny should have gotten him out of there easily. Each time Garcia landed punches on him he hurt him.

Because he is a southpaw and this fight was supposed to prepare him for southpaws Erroll Spence and Manny Pacquiao.

Dan said that Ivan Redkach said '' Mike Tyson! '', when he bit Garcia.

I've read Rafael's article earlier in the morning (in my time zone)...

I should of said Danny -- Angel ( Pops ) calls his son 'Dan'. I did not know ESPN Dan Rafael had wrote a article about this fight ; I figured Fat-Dan was still eating dinner, a late night snack and breakfast before getting back to work.

Exactly! Redkach was ready to give up and that's why Danny should have pressed the issue more by forcing the referee to call a halt to the action in stopping the fight.

However, I felt that Danny was a bit too deliberate by showing Redkach too much respect. I don't know. Perhaps fatigue may have set in because he did have trouble making the weight.

                Rafael did write it...

Danny Garcia beat overmatched underdog Ivan Redkach in a welterweight world title elimination bout on Saturday.

"He bit me. He said 'Mike Tyson' when he bit me," Garcia said. "I said 'Ref, he bit me.' I thought I needed stitches or something. That's my first time ever getting bit in a fight. Things happen though. I've been in a street fight before, so I did it all."

Danny was enjoying the paid sparring whilst making sure not to scare any future opponents away.

                    Angel Garcia is a genius.

I’ve watched this guy for nearly a decade and I swear he has not evolved at all as a boxer! Slob Pauline Maliganaggi was nuthugging on DG all night too. I see a guy who is predictable as hell! The punches are all telegraphed. He is just not a dynamic boxer.

I guess you could say he might land a big right against a 41 year old Pacquiao? Lol that’s about a 1 in 1000 chance. But that fight looks to be next with crash test dummy Spence needing a tune up.
