LOL This guy was meant to be a walk over for Hurd. That was set up as a typical PBC mismatch and Hurd turned into a hard battle against a dragged up Welter with an average record. Has Hurd recently been forced to start drug testing or something?

Hurd looked to be at least 3 weight classes bigger than the other guy and he still couldnt stop him. Not impressed...At all.

My God had Hurd gotten worse, he let a guy moving up in weight, fight at a catch weight and who’s fought only two times in the past 3 years beat him up. He needs to drop his new trainer, quit trying to “box” and learn defense. His stock got even worse tonight, and was boo’d throughout the fight in his own hometown.

I thought 1) D@mn Hurd is a boring fighter now, 2) No way he competes with the elite using that style 3) He needs to fight to his STRENGTHS. Mike Tyson didnt say "I wanna fight like Ali now...I like his style". 4) Skills dont pay the bills...fans pay the bills. I wouldnt pay to watch him fight that way.

Did you hear that funkin weasle Sam Watson right before they announced the cards. Saying "Jarrett you looked good, he couldn't touch you". Lies like that are gonna get him severally beaten. It's not confidence but the accumulation of punishment because this dude has probably taken more headshots per fight than the greatest of tomato cans over the past decade.

Hurd looked atrocious trying to box. He needs to stay with what he's good at and got him a couple of world titles. He probably also needs to put his big boy pants on and move up to 160.
