Go look up what they said about this fighter..go look at what they let Chavez jr get away with, they defended morales fighting dirty, they came out and damn near did backflips to defend Canelo before the final testing was done and have proverbially have licked his taint the past two years. Hell the Luis Nery situation alone was very telling.

This. WBC guy clearly shows lean towards Mexican fighters especially with PED sh^t. He just liked giving Floyd belts more than he was watching out for him when he effed up. The Wilder thing is more odd cuz hes probably the only fighter who's gotten out of 2 or more fights in recent times due to his opponent coming up dirty, but the more unique angle to that is they were a white Russian & black UK guy. I wonder what would've happened if Arreola in the past or Andy in the future came up dirty.

Dude Mauricio makes no bones about it, the man doesn’t even try to mask his stance on things. Literally the conflict of interests is glaring here and there is nothing that can be done about it short of the feds coming after him. He’s been on vacation with de la Hoya fam. He went through rehabilitation at de la hoya mansion after his surgery. He loved Floyd because Floyd paid him shhh loads of money in fees. From my understanding there is a cap on that 3%. Believe its at the 6 digit level. Someone up on the ABC rules & specifically the WBC rules can confirm or deny that if they are more up on the rules than I.

At least there is that. Yet, this should have serious oversight. Like the promoters cannot just go sit down with commission heads or go on vacation with them or any of that. I still can’t believe that public hearing they put Sergio through for Chavez Jr to justify jr not fighting him and or giving up the belt

I wish I could see a way for ABC groups to all get flushed down the toilet. Sadly I think the relationship between ABC groups & promoters + fighters is too symbiotic & nothing is altering that any time soon.

I wish I could see a way for ABC groups to all get flushed down the toilet. Sadly I think the relationship between ABC groups & promoters + fighters is too symbiotic & nothing is altering that any time soon.

I know McCain was looking into boxing before his passing years ago but nobody picked up the torch. Plus now with pressure from ufc and wrestling for viewers it’s unlikely to happen.
