  • DAZN is the reason Andrade doesn't fight ggg/Canelo,learn the difference between ppv

Dazn & ppv business model is entirely different where Dazn has ZERO incentive to match Canelo/Andrade/ggg anytime soon. They have each seperately driven subscriptions to Dazn yet ppl believe a subscription service will throw it away by having nelo beat them & thereby ruining the other 2 revenue streams Dazn invested heavily in,Ggg/Andrade.

When will fans start realizing that nobody is ducking Andrade/Charlo when it is they who are the ones content making millions for no hoper exhibitions just as ggg was before them all those yrs.

Everyday I see countless threads/comments saying these 2 are being ducked by the cashcow because he instead has chosen the most lucrative/prestigious opponents throughout his career & Andrade/Charlo are already starting to age(andrades 32 already basically,Malls almost 30)& just like Crawford they are unwilling to sacrifice in any way shape or form to get a challenging respectable scalp on their mantle from the current weightclass despite their clock running away from them, soon they'll be considered "old" "aged" etc. For whomever beats them(if) & they would become footnotes in history who never reached legendary status.

It’s not DAZN. We have to keep pointing out the conflicts of interest for Matchroom USA and DAZN. Hearn is the reason why Andrade wasn’t approved for Canelo’s Undisputed. Matchroom USA only has a limited amount of Champions. The client portfolio is based on draw power and how many Champions held.

Canelo Álvarez beat one Matchroom USA Champion in May 2019. Hearn knew the high possibility of Canelo-GBP wiping out Matchroom‘s Middleweight Champions list by the end of 2019 had Andrade lost.

Not only would it be an embarrassment to Hearn’s USA portfolio, but as you said, a loss of business to DAZN making Matchroom USA look bad at the elite level.

Plus in 2019 Hearn and Oscar were having war disputes about matchmaking...we know Hearn got pull or favoritism with DAZN execs from Perform days anyways. With Hearn always promoting DAZN of course Skipper’s going to appreciate Hearn’s character and requests. It’s called kissing ass to get what you want.

The fact that BJs and GGG are under Hearn.... it has nothing to do with DAZN and Canelo. We need to understand which two big DAZN clients are in competition with each other for metrics and insecurities.

Fans say “Andrade can’t get BJs.” FFS the initial one had promotion. Andrade said he’d chase BJS to 168.

I repeat, Andrade said he’d chase BJS to 168. It obviously shows Hearn can’t do shet with MTK Global being shook of Andrade or else Hearn would’ve conspired to help Andrade become a 3 division Champ by beating BJS at 168.

Like everything around here it depends who you ask...

It does seem likely that offers have been sent to Charlo for both Canelo and Andrade, we haven't heard anything from either side about an offer between Andrade and Canelo, though one would have to assume that Canelo is in the driving seat there... dude's in the enviable position of being able to take whatever fights he pleases within reason. Fortunately he's largely using that to bring us good fights.

But your assertion that fighters who don't get the good fights are somehow automatically to blame or somehow complacent does not necessarily follow nor is entirely fair I think. Politics, priviledge and money are the main reasons fights get made or don't and whilst fighter decisions may make some impact I'd say it's relatively small for almost all fighters compared to the power plays of the broadcasters, promoters and sanctioning orgs. In the vast majority of cases we simply don't know what's going on behind the scenes, though it doesn't stop folk on here running wild with their specualtions and declaring them as fact.

In the main all fighters want prestige fights and big money - there ain't no 'cowards' at this (or I'd say any) level of boxing, and there is no single definite route to getting the best fights, merely different strategies. Most fighters will allow themselves to be led by the knowledge and experience of their managers and promoters, which is, after all, their job, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

Context is everything. Andrade and GGG insist at 160. Their standards should ideally be higher if they want a Canelo fight. Canelo in his first 3 appearanceS with DAZN were 160, 168, 175. Who the hell else is going that?! GGG should’ve already been and Andrade told everyone he would chase BJS’s title at 168.

Fans DKSAB if they think Canelo has to please those guys with paydays. It’s more lucrative in Canelo fighting Undefeated fighters in BJS for the full 168 WBO or Smith’s Ring and WBC. Therefore, Andrade nor GGG aren’t even remotely close to Canelo’s radar nor need.

I think you misunderstand me... I ain't saying that Canelo is under any obligation to fight or 'please' fight either of 'em, dude can fight exactly who he wants. Merely that it doesn't automatically follow that any of these guys - though it's particularly Boo Boo I'm thinking of here - ain't getting the fights they want due to some lack of desire or action on their part. Boxing just doesn't work like that. Course fighters can cut corners and take reduced paydays or weight sacrifices to make themselves more attractive, but that's always gonna be a measured risk and never a guarantee of success. Ain't one 'right' way of doing it... merely different strategies.

Canelo excuse train has arrived. Lame Smith from the UK in Texas in a half-filled stadium you have to give away tickets is a bigger draw than an undisputed fight vs Andrade who people will draw his skill sets to FMW (blowout) and Lara (levi martinez and oscar 117-111 robbery). Styles that make Canelo look like his feet are in cement. I'm not sure about LDBC with the Charlo nonsense. His team is turning down pretty much every fight. My thoughts are, they are hold him over in 160 until they start to move up their 154s. Charlo can beat that crop of fighters and probably become undisputed at 160 if they can get that WBO belt out of Andrade's hands.

Look at the preceding post after yours, another poster just saying Canelo without thinking. These fans just bring up cards or Ring IQ from 2014, as if Crawford is the same fighter today as he was when fought Gamboa, or that a judges score card is somehow timeless to represent present-day progression let alone that Canelo never fights the same. lol Casual fan talk.

It's radar funny how the LDBC PBC fanboys cried that nobody within PBC wanted to fight Spence. Anybody remember that narrative? It's similar as to Matchroom with Andrade, BJS and Smith all with the same outfit, but these dummies don't say that. Instead, they reference an external organization and cry Canelo without making sense of the already inhouse matchmaking from Matchroom. Same dummies said this with Crawford for different sides of the street.

If you actually believe Canelo not only lost to Lara despite Lara landing literally nothing but jabs & Canelo landing almost 90% of his punches as power shots to laras gut(at a higher accuracy/volume),& lara running for his life despite saying he would decapitate canelo, then you obviously don't understand anything about how professional boxing is scored. But it makes it even more absurd to say it was a 117-11 robbery. GTFO

I have been giving Andrade plenty credit for sending great offer to charlo for unification. I'm merely stating that its the old adage"if a man can't find work (or a fight )its because he ain't trying hard enough". Andrade I have no longer been giving a lot of sht about fighting someone because it's not entirely his fault & hes made an honest attempt to stake his claim,BUT hes been content with where hes at or he would've signed elsewhere (nothing wrong with that but its ludicrous for him or his fans to complain about his situation he put himself in)

My point in this thread is to educate ppl to the obvious in that Dazn is not pbc/hbo/sho/etc. & they don't want to cannabalize their stable by pitting them against one another the traditional way networks do. Dazn want s subs to stay long term & can only accomplish it by bring in outside opponents for its biggest sub driver's.

Fanboy alert. Lara's power punch % at that time was similar to FMW's 48-50%. Lara doesn't even use his right hand LOL. It's straight power punches with the left, has always been. He hit Canelo repeatedly with the left just like he did Angulo but I can pretend otherwise if you like. Angul was far more active than Canelo with 2 knockdowns and Lara was ahead on 2 cards at the time of the stoppage. So Lara lands more headshots on Canelo and Canelo lands less zero knockdowns but he is ahead on the cards. Sure!
