Floyd should fight Crawford

If Floyd decides to get into a serious boxing match, Crawford is the only fighter Id like to see him fight.

I always thought Floyd beats Spence but Crawford poses alot of challenge.

Mayweather has always had a good idea of who he could beat an d who he could not beat. He fought more than his share of good opponents because he thought he could beat them. He did not fight the guys he was not sure of beating. He is 42 now and probably does not think he can beat Crawford who is still in his late prime so he won't fight him. Mayweather is still very good at age 42 but not as good as he once was. He gets worse in his old age just like every other boxer. 42 is really old for a boxer and Mayweather should no longer be expected to beat the best welterweights 10 or more years younger than himself. He is a smart guy who is retired but doesn't mind making a fortune fighting some cage fighter he can easily beat with hardly any training, If he seriously wants to get in top shape and fight a current welterweight champ like Pacquiao, Spence or Crawford that would be interesting and I think he would lose.

In the Radio Raheem interview with Ellerbe, he asked him about Crawford calling out Floyd. His response was, thats silly, or something to that effect. I guess thats the official word coming from the TMT camp.

Crawford stylewise is the type of fighter Floyd always avoided. Too high of a risk regardless of what level the reward is on.

Considering Floyd wants to be historically considered an atg he can't rely on his controversial win v Pac and nel o to catapult him to the stars. Fighters he didn't rematch?.You don't want controversy surrounding your biggest scalps but that's what's Floyd got, of his own doing mind you.

Why are we trying to match Prime Fighters up with a Retired fighter when that Prime Fighter have yet to even fight the top guys in his current ERA
