Seemed like they may have worked themselves into too short of a window to really be in fighting motivation/condition. I remember seeing all the pics and vids of losing weight and such but it felt very rushed - I think there was a fight date set, but it just wasn't right. Probably not the best idea to come back....MAYBE if he has continued to harden himself over this time I could see it, but I haven't kept up so I'll wait to see.

Man nobody gives AF about Maidana boxing at this point.. We're looking forward to the new generation with the young talent coming up now..

Maidana should try MMA like Mayorga or bare knuckle brawling If he wants to make some kind of noise

I don't think this will be a very successful comeback. He was such a physical fighter, with his past prime body I don't see him doing too well now.

He gave boxing fans some good fights vs Ortiz, Broner, Mayweather, Khan, and Morales. I think he should stay retired. First of all he retired kind of you, he still had some good fights left in the tank. But now its been over 5 years and his style is not that of someone who can take a 5 year break and come back in mid 30s. He will get beat up. And who knows what his motivation will be like, would he come to 154, 160, or try to fight at 168-175? He can’t do anything at 168-175 and he stands a chance against anyone it would be welterweights.
