Smart. The only two good promoters to sign to in that division are Match Room and Golden Boy.

Andrade tried to fight Billy Joe Sanders. How did that turn out?
Andrade won a world title 7 years ago, still hasn’t fought one legit opponent since. There are no excuses...

I don’t particularly want to see Canelo-Murata but Murata actually has a better resume than Andrade.

Just because other fighters didn’t earn the fight, it doesn’t mean everyone should just start taking low risks tune ups and wait to cash out against Canelo. (Two wrongs don’t make a right)

Andrade should go fight GGG, Derevyanchenko, Charlo, (if negotiable) BJS etc. Instead of fighting these D level opponents who create no interest. By beating a legit opponent at 160, the demand for Canelo-Andrade would increase.

You can’t cry about being avoided if you’re only fighting scrubs.

Well if you can get paid millions to fight guys who have 2 losses already and only 5 KO's in 17 wins, then why not? Boxing cannot sustain this model.

Why? People should only go to PBC? Whoever can pay the most hosts.

Nope murata hasn't earned it either, but he does have a couple of things in his favor, he's an exciting come forward puncher and secondly being Japanese means he can give Canelo the chance to fight overseas (something Canelo is very keen to experience).

People can whine all they like but fighting guys like Walter Kautondokwa, Maciej Sulecki and Luke Keeler ain't gonna earn you a Canelo fight, especially if you're a boring fighter with a small fanbase.

No the hell he doesn't lol. Can't take anything you say seriously after that.

Andrade signed to fight Sanders but Sanders tested positive for a PED. Golovkin has no interest and would never fight Andrade. You don't even know what the hell you're talking about.

In other words he's an easier fight. You just made my point lol. Fighting overseas has nothing to do with earning a title shot.

Bro, never said it was true however after watching Andrade move I am beginning to see it that way.

He and his father keep talking about how easy it would be to beat the Charlo’s, but the Charlo’s always get special requirements.

We were supposed to see Andrade fight Jermell back in late 2014. However Andrade backed out saying the career high pay day wasn’t enough. They stated that 250K was grounds for rejection but the network says they offered 550k. To put this in perspective he made 200k for His previous opponent Brian Rose. So over double his highest payday wasn’t enough for an easy fight with a guy whom they said had no power?

Then Andrade goes inactive for a whole 13 months, so long he actually has to be stripped of the WBO title. Said everyone was ducking him? He had a title and couldn’t force anyone in line to the table?

Then he fights light touch Puchato. An argentine with nobody on his resume.

Then it’s the Willie Nelson fight which puts him right back in line for Charlo’s WBC belt. He then instead moves to face Culcay for the WBA but stalls on signing the contract in time. my guess is this is win discussions with Hearn begin.

They eventually move the date and fight and he wins of course but instead of pursuing Charlo he places a new obstacle in place fighting on HBO. When Stevens did this to Kovalev every one went crazy. No body brings this up with Andrade.

Since then he has been ducked but he also pulled out of a fight with Derevychenko claiming he didn’t have enough time prepare for such a tough fighter.

Now he claims he wants Jermall, whom he said would be easy yet he signs right back up with Dazn at a time when everyone is claimoring for the fight. It would be huge and career defining why wouldn’t you make that tremendous pay day that puts him into the stratosphere?

Now coincidence is one thing, but coincidence in a series is an indication of consistent behavior.

Used to defend him but I think I have seen too much not to have doubts on his desire for tough fights. As long as he is getting paid he really hasn’t put up too much fuss about not fighting Danny, Canelo and GGG. How is it you resign with a company who is moving you weakest out of the four? Do the research and tell me what I am missing?

Besides what your are suggesting doesn’t make sense to me. PBC has been doing one fight business with other promoters the whole time. Why would they suddenly try to trap Andrade in a contract when he was so hard to work with before? They don’t seem to have a problem matching their fighters tough. Ask J-Rock, Lara, Hurd and Jermell Charlo.

You are right I don’t know it to be true. However even as a fan of Andrade’s him ducking significant fights is certainly wearing a uniform that looks like the truth.
