    Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan has been promised another world title shot. The Cork man was withdrawn in the 11th-round earlier this month when he faced Jaime Munguia. Munguia stepped up to middleweight at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas after relinquishing the WBO world title at super-welterweight.

                It worked for Dennis Hogan because everyone who has two eyes and a functioning brain knows damn well he won that fight. Spike is a tough guy who tries his hardest but just can't cut it against top level guys and that's okay. He's been making strong 6 figures for years.
