Chavez knows the game, according to the judges, the two fights were very close. Alvarez had a chance to fight Golovkin in Sept. and prove he was dominant, but chose not too and fight Kovalev instead, after the Russian had a short camp.

Couldnt agree more. I cannot wait for Canelo to fight 42 year old GGG. Hes going to better that Khazakh prima donna.

Canelo has moved on and is doing great things with his career.

He doesn't need Golovkin.

Golovkin's career on the other hand has obviously become stagnant.

Since GGG II, Alvarez has fought a paper champ (Fielding) a GGG leftover (Jacobs) and a shot LHW (Kovalev).
Everybody has an opinion, but I don't see too many knowledgeable fans calling those "great things".

Tyson had Douglas out and out for the count in the 8th didn’t he until the ref did a Deontay Wilder - fury moment and gave too much of a count .

Canelo won’t fight GGG period and he doesn’t have to.
He has one win and an arguable draw.
But I agree that there fights were too close for one to be ****ting on the other.
Talk about resumes ,if GGG fought the same people canelo did ,his record would still be unblemished as well.

Ggg aka Borat was in a grueling fight w/ Dervenchenko and was given a generous decision...and ofc Borat doesnt want a rematch.

Canelo moved up 2 weight classes to fight the best LHW in the world and a 1st ballot HOF who was coming off a KO win over a prospect.

Kovalev was definitely seen as the greater opponent at the time. And he still is. Borat fell off like aged milk

Agree with you and you have to dare to be great and move weights and win belts.
But if you have cheated which canelo has ( regardless what canelo fans say ) you have to think his resume is tainted.
And has he cheated before or not is always in ur mind.
Well maybe not narrow minded canelo fan boys ( not saying you are one of them ) but it is always open for discussion and negative thoughts.
My favourite fighter is BJS and I have the same thoughts about him .
Regardless of canelo fans saying “ oh well what BJS took ( nasal spray ) is more potent than what canelo used.
It is all cheating and horrible for the sport.
So maybe canelo vs BJS in May ,Cinco de Mayo is good for both fans.
But whatever you say or canelo fans say GGG gave canelo his hardest fights in his life and any canelo fan that thinks he whooped GGGs arse in either fight is a load of bollox.

Fact is he pissed hot for clen in feb or March and the May fight with ggg was canceled, he then enrolled into vada 365 and beat ggg on sept... all facts
