Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Adds Stitch Duran To The Team

Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury is taking no chances ahead of his scheduled rematch with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder. Back in September, Fury suffered a severe cut above his right eye in a twelve round contest against unbeaten Otto Wallin. There were moments where it appeared the contest would get stopped, but it was allowed to continue and Fury ultimately won a twelve round unanimous decision.

Good move by Fury. Stitch is one of the best. I’m not sure if Wilder still uses Russ Anber in his corner but he too is very good.

Can Stitch revive Fury from a devastating knockout? If so, he’s the man.patching him for destruction will not be pretty

He'll need Peter Popoff in his corner to revive him after that "big ****** right hand", as he calls it, connects

Even Stitch won't be able to help Fury if that cut re-opens!

            Not wit Deontay

I see Stitch desperately working on a wide open audience gasping cut with swabs and clumps of vaseline

And each round D sends him back to Stitch with an even wider even more ghastly cut

I'm not sure if they've worked together lately but he was around Wilder a lot helping develop him early in his career since Anber is much more than just a cutman as I'm sure you know.
