I’m surprised it was that high considering neither were stars. I am of the mind that PBC needs to put its stars on FOX and leave its regular champions to build names on FS1, Showtime, andnon the undercards of the ppv’s. FOX fights should never be lower than 2m. Now having said that, they were up against the most popular Ufc fighter ever....and ESPN had boxing on a tad later but its undercards were on ESPN+!

PBC on Fox is basically getting the same rating as Batwoman, one of the lowest rated programs in primetime.

Why do people care so much about ratings though?

Boxing is not a popularity concert, it’s gladiator sport for real men.

Down with women on undercards. Put them all on separate cards so I can ignore them altogether.
well, less eyes, less money, less interest, less boxing.

Take boxing in germany for instance. Boxing was thriving there, when Klischko, Abraham, Stieglitz, Sturm and Brähmer were fighting. When those dudes got old and the new generation didnt pan out, they lost their big TV deal.

Nowadays, boxing in germany is relegated to some niche channels and in a really bad situation.

            Are you serious?
Ratings decides for the future whether the Network will showcase the boxing in Prime time or if draws Ads rates time buys etc

Giant mismatch? Great ratings? That was FOX. Those weren’t great ratings for a large network like FOX. Sorry bud.

No one really rates feigenbutz and i would be suprised if he wins against plant.

The most recent generation has some prospects that could have some impact.

Formella is at a fringe contender level, but if he doesnt develop some power, he wont make it.

Abbas Barou is a top prospect. He won silver in the amateur world championship before he went pro. Good pressure fighter with a good engine.

                  Kabayel signed with toprank recently.

Bunn is a technically sound boxer, but doesnt have anything special going on.

They are also currently developing heavyweight prospects kadiru and pfeiffer, but those two have not been convincing yet.

Fox is no longer counting the final segment along with the rest of the broadcast in order to inflate their average so if you were to compare the full telecast they probably had the same amount of viewers in that demographic as the espn card. Getting senior citizens to watch your programming is not where you want to be in order to get better advertisers.
no one cares about demos moron! Total viewers is what matter and pbc beat the dog turds out of top rank aknd ufc in 2019!

Gaymon cares about demos, you trailer park meth baby. His pitch to networks was that they could get younger viewers and **********. The networks need younger viewers to get the most money out of advertisers. Fox can't afford a Gervonta Davis or an Errol Spence when most of their commercials are for local car dealers and the occasional Popeye's Chicken ad.

If PBC was doing better than the UFC they'd be the ones getting billion dollar tv deals.
