I don't know about Rosario ducking Charlo, though. Williams had a rematch clause which he said he is going to exercise immediately.
as in it was a fix.

What could Williams possibly gain by throwing this fight?

Absolutely it’s the leading Upset of the year candidate!

J rock should’ve took a Jorge Cota type fighter for his first title defense and in his hometown!

Look what happened to Hurd and almost Danny Garcia when he fought Herrera even though Puerto Rico isn’t necessarily his hometown!

I wonder what the odds will be for the rematch and how long that cut will take to heal cuz I heard it scar tissue there so it might need cosmetic surgery!

This was 110% an upset , however iam not sure William's can win the rematch this kid was all wrong for him , hes gonna have to be In and out and use his legs like never before . When his best work is done in the pocket . And the size differnce was something else . If he wins the rematch kudos to jrock but iam not sure its gonna happen . He got manhandled for the most part he won 1 round and got pushed around like a jr welterweight .

Everyone in there picked J-Rock. The only guy I remember saying anything hopeful about Rosario was BigZ44. Right before the opening bell he said, "Rosario is no slouch, hopefully J-Rock isn't taking this lightly tonight."

Rosario DID look very confident at the weigh-in, and looked relaxed and ready as he was walking into the ring. I expected J-Rock to go to war with him in the early rounds, which he did, but it backfired on him big time.

If the odds were 30-1, then it means the money on JW was more than 30x the amount on Rosario. The betting firms would have profited heavily with Rosario winning, of course it really depends on the amount of money involved too. Since sports betting was legalised there are betting firms and casinos all over the country involved..and many are prob controlled by the mafia.

He could get a nice cut of the betting money, or he could even be coerced into it along with the promise of getting the W in the rematch.

a lot like aj vs ruiz 1 and 2 but on a smaller scale.
with AJ as an example he said all he needed to in these 2 instances

Fury-wilder 1 was a definite fix. Wilder-Ortiz 2 was more than likely fixed too.

this is an unregulated sport, it's always been dirty but it's worse since sports betting was legalised.

thats not how it works. it would work that way if the initial line was even and moved to 30 to 1 but whatever the initial line is and the way it moves is where the money is coming from. for example kansas city started off as a -1 point favorite and if it moves towards 49ers that means more people are betting 49ers. if it widens to 2 or 3 points more poeople are betting kansas city
