I'm not so sure that Williams handlers are up for the rematch because if he loses then he will fall way back at the end of the line. As they say, be careful what you wish for.
Besides, it is by now very clear that J-Rock has a rather brittle chin. I'm still kicking myself for not having bet on Rosario even after seriously studying the case.

Saying Andy didn't train just gives him and his team more leeway for their silly excuses. They lost to the better man on the night in the rematch. No need for them to make excuses.

And we knew they would be representing the East when they got Kawhi! We already knew the Top 4 in the East b4 the season started! Not the same as 49ers going from the bottom of the NFC West to the NFC Champions in one year!

It was just a figure of speech. Translate: if Rosario remains the same fighter we saw last Saturday, he will knock Williams out again.

there's no way these guys think before they type stuff.

if andy was in a weight class he would have missed weight, lapped himself, and missed it again for the next weight class.

been saying this for a while:
williams is huge. making 154 hurts him. problem is that he's a fairly ordinary fighter, and he won't have ay advantages at 160 lbs. he is not a durable guy and it's going to cost him. and at 160 he will have more water in his brain, but he'll be fighting guys who come down from 190 lbs to train, and are LHW on fight night.

Actually, it's too bad. Had he learned some kind of discipline, he would have excellent technical tools to exploit.

But let's face it: Ruiz is really dumb. One has just to look at his facial expression to understand. He had the world in his hands and flushed everything down the toilet. Why? To "celebrate" his win and party like there's no tomorrow.

                      Just come back better...

I absolutely despise when a fighter beats himself then makes promises to bounce back stronger. Stop it.

He's yet to learn how to hold, take a knee, stop trading so much and basically taking a still picture when he shoots his straight right.

His skills failed him in both the Charlo and Rosario fight because he was too prideful and/or inexperienced to keep himself in the fight.

I want guys to become trustworthy champs, not perform well enough to win the titles and lose them in the first defense.

Why even take such a hard fight this soon? I mean, when has pleasing the fans ever helped a fighter?

He should be tired of moral support from fans when he comes up short, it's time to add a new trainer or completely let go of Breadman, and I like Breadman. Smh

Again, we all want strong and longstanding champs, but dude, you didn't have to pick the most difficult guy so soon, just to please the fans.

If anything, the pressure was on Hurd after the loss, not Williams. Truthfully, nobody really made a lot of noise and held Williams to some otherworldly standard, most were just happy to see Hurd dethroned due to horrible discipline between fights.
