  • Comments Thread For: Julian Williams: I've Been Here Before; I'll Bounce Back Even Better

PHILADELPHIA The last time Julian Williams was stopped in a fight, the resilient Philadelphian rebuilt his career and came back to become a world champion. Williams is certain he'll do that again now that he has been upset by Jeison Rosario, who stopped Williams in the fifth round of their 154-pound title fight Saturday night at Temple University's Liacouras Center.

I love this division! Can't wait for Spence Jr. to join the party!

It is a fun division to watch. Lots of talent with no one fighter clearly standing out above the rest.

That's what makes it so good to me! It's why I think the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is the best! It's why the NFL is the best! 49ers were 4-12 last year! Now they're headed to the Super Bowl! You don't see that in the NBA!

If Rosario doesn't do an Andy Ruiz and trains properly for the rematch too, Williams will indeed bounce back. On the canvas.

When they all beat each other and no one fighter stands out it's hard to know if it's because they are all mediocre or because they're all good (but not great).

My eye test tells me that Charlo, Harrison, Hurd, Lara, Williams and now Rosario are all good but none are elite - what's your take?

Jermell is the cream of the crop. I feel he should've won the 1st Harrison fight, as do most. J-Rock can't blame PEDS either because this fight had random testing

I would agree, good but not great. B+ level fighters like someone was saying yesterday.

But that doesn't stop this division from being entertaining.

At least Andy didn't lose his title on the scales, like some guys, or go into a defensive shell. AJ was the one who took off on his ten speed. Don't do an AJ!

I still have to see a heavyweight losing his title on the scales
