after hurd-lara back in april 2018, hurd-charlo was the fight to make. but instead pbc just kept marinating, it was literally the same thing everyone hated on arum for, and like most over-marinations it ended with upsets and instead of what could've been one of the most meaningful fights in the sport went up in smoke

it was literally there on a plate for pbc to create a big star but they didn't want the best to fight the best too soon without milking it, and so almost 2 years later and the division is a meaningless mess and all the guys pbc told us were elite and/or future stars took it in turns to prove pbc wrong

154 is a mess in general. half of the guys in that division haven't got a chin between them i.e Harrison, lubin, williams, which is why noone ever knows who is going to win. the best 154 jermall charlo moved up in weight and got taken to school by someone who wasnt even in top 20 of the above division

Korobov dominated him, stop. Go watch the fight. Compubox is complete ass too. Most recently was rewatching Thurman Pacquiao and the insane number of clearly missed punches added to Thurman’s numbers in the early rd’s (think it was the first actually), completely ridiculous. Ofcourse by the end of the fight Thurman landed nearly a 100 more, despite losing the fight.

Always think it’s a good division when nobody pulls away from the others.

Lesser lights are always more willing to fight each other too it seems.
