Lol. “Purposely”you are purposely forgetting the rehydration clause in the kovalev fight lol and the fact that they offered a huge sum of money to sergey that it was impossible to reject for him to accept this terms and also that they fought two months appart from kovalev's previous fight vs yarde where he almost got stopped. those were more important facts than age in that fight. that's not cherry picking, is making sure the other guy has no chance in hell of winning
If you criticize a rehydration clause then you forfeit catch weights. You need better context or circumstances for fighters or sides demanding it. Canelo imposed the IBF 10lb morning rule. Many IBF champs or those wanting a shot at it have to follow the rule. Kovalev chose the fight. If he thought he was going to lose because of an IBF morning rule which he has done before, then it means Kovalev is a betch, just the way Team Canelo said he was after the fact. Industry don’t like those excuses because it makes one look weak. Like Maidana getting beat by Khan or getting tagged by Soto Karass...
Brush up on your boxing. Kovalev could weigh any amount on fight night.Comment

The bookies don’t care which trainer Kovalev uses to sharpen his defense for body shots...that’s all industry talked about was body shots. Abel said GGG cracked harder than Kovalev.. In other words all of Kovalev’s legacy defining skills didn’t matter because his ribs are made of glass? Don’t see how that is Canelo’s fault. Krusher was ranked #1 LHWComment
