At the time of the fight, IV rehydration was completely legal under the rules of Nevada.

Floyd and Manny voluntarily agreed to stricter regulations beyond what was required by Nevada. One of the restrictions they agreed to was that any IV rehydration would need to be deemed medically necessary by USADA.

USADA deemed that Floyd's IV rehydration was medically necessary. Therefore the IV was completely legal. Both under the rules of Nevada and under the additional restrictions Floyd and Manny voluntarily agreed to.
The legal limits for saline / vitamin IV drip was 50mls or under in a 6 hour time period . Floyd recieved 750ml as per the 25 page affidavit esque report in 6 hours , 2 drips. That was not legal whatsoever . I see what u are saying and u were right , IV was permitted at the time , however all u guys left out the context of why what floyd did was illegal . Iam not hating on floyd at all , but it is fishy and technically it was illegal so iam not sure what u guys are arguing about . Theres facts to prove it was illegal . The weird thing about it all for me is the possibility that he was masking something , becusse if he was so dehydrated he needed IV how did he give urine before the IV as the same report states that he did so before the 6 hours and after. But hey iam not gonna call the guy a cheat for using an IV bag unless he failed a test . Funny how hes getting roasted for this 5 years later and people are sticking up for dillian whyte and ortiz for GETTING POPPED with banned steroids . Do I think 90% of these top athletes are actually clean just because they are passing a test ??? NO . But I'll go with what I got and wont call fighters cheats unless I have proof . Theres my two cents . Anyways this topic is old just thought I'd shed some light.

I mean seriously, Toradol? Top Rank pre planned the camp news about a shoulder injury to prepare for the event of needing a Toradol injection on fight night.

Floyd and PAC phagg0ts think that numbing yourself for a fight isn’t cheating... let me repeat, ON SOMETHING during a fight versus someone with a nano trace of meat contamination 80 days away whom would go under testing leading up to the fight.

We’ve got Haymonation allowing an IV for “dehydration..” and another bulbous head hero wanting numbing effects with Toradol like multi-million dollar NFL games on the line...

Both Haymon and Top Rank doing shady ness. Not unusual that fans are naive to this. So much money on the line for a cross promotional event of course both sides needed their thing just in case.. the show must go on
yeah sorry i dont play the false equivalency game. one was illegal and one wasn't. one side paid off usada and the other didnt. it would be silly to ignore the repercussions of how money influences people/orgs to act. they covered for floyd and let him cheat and made sure pac didnt get his normal prep. if you want to ban toradol ok thats another topic.

              #1. it was not injected.

              #2. it's completely legal.
              more evidence of corruption.

It is legal, but its use is discouraged by the NSAC:

              3. The following types of drugs or injections are not prohibited pursuant to subsection 1, but
their use is discouraged by the Commission:
              (a) Aspirin and products containing aspirin.
              (b) Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories.
              http://www.leg.state.nv.us/NAC/NAC-4...l#NAC467Sec850

It sounds like it would be perfect for fighters with nagging injuries. Just take a shot a couple of hours before your fight:

Toradol is a stronger cousin of Advil and Aleve in the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) family. Its popularity dates back longer than a decade despite doctors believing it can damage organs, and pitchers across baseball often use it both to dull arm pain before outings and prevent it during them.

So because someone disagrees with you they are “Welfare merchants” that don’t understand legal matters?

Seems white posters have this kind of angry response regularly. What exactly leads you to conclude someone is a welfare merchant just because they don’t agree with youre opinion on this?

Now people that disagree with you are raised by a single mother.

What exactly are you implying? Welfare merchant. Raised by a single mother. All because they don’t agree with you and the TS.

i wouldn't expect you to be able to differentiate opinions from regulations.
