Wilder has defended his title against guys worse than Kownacki so why not?

Just fight Whyte. He’s the lady in waiting of the heavyweight division and they’ll have a trilogy. Or Ortiz

This time Helenius is not coming in shorth notification.. for Whyte and Washington fights he was coming in practically straight from the pub. Still was ahead on scorecards against Washington and made it to the final bell against Whyte. Now he has almost 2 months to prepair himself for Kownacki.. this will look like similar to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2ZZNZQXtJI

Then again - looking at the resumes of Joshua, Wilder, and Fury, maybe Kownacki is pretty much on par with some of the fights they take.

Still, I'd like to see his people do right by him and build Kownacki up a little slower, let him build a solid and steady career, and save some bank before he goes for it. Too much too soon can have some dire consequences.
Move slower than he already is? Kownacki is only fighting twice a year and isn't facing challenging opposition either. Martin and Arreola played into his style, and he ran over Szpilka/Washington.

Helenius is a terrible fight. He should be fighting Breazeale, Ruiz or even Arreola again

Kownacki vs Whyte after Adam makes easy work of Helenius,, a task that Dillian failed to accomplish.
