We need better fights with the bigger guys. Who cares if they lose their zero the idea is weed out the weak and bring out the best in each other. At least it used to be that way.

For people complaining look at the WBA rankings the last 2 months. Kownacki at #3 & Helenius #6. Everyone around them was busy except Charr & Bryan. Usyk has a WBO mandatory spot so he ain't fighting anybody here but Joshua. Ruiz fought Joshua in the rematch, Ortiz fought Wilder for the WBC title, Hunter & Povetkin already fought a WBA eliminator so that leaves Kownacki & Helenius as the next 2 highest ranked guys to fight in a title eliminator. Chisora is at #9 & Kabayel #10... Helenius has been sitting idle at the #6 spot for 2 months while everyone around him got big fights. Now his ranking has got him another big fight. This is do or die for him...

Would be amazing to see Kownacki end the Hearn hoax that Whyte is even remotely a contender. Every win is tainted by his doping

Since Povetkin could be fighting Whyte next the winner of this fight will probably fight Hunter in a WBA final eliminator. Helenius has been the WBA #6 since November of 2019. He has been the WBA #6 for a few months now well before this fight was even talked about. Ortiz wasn't available for an eliminator nor was Ruiz being the WBA champion. Joshua was at #3 but got the rematch. Usyk was the only guy available at #2 & he has other plans. They overlooked Helenius at #6 as Povetkin (#7) & Hunter (#8) fought in a WBA eliminator on Ruiz/Joshua undercard. Kownacki at #3 will fight Helenius at #6 in a WBA eliminator. Bryan & Charr are also ahead of him but I'm not sure what is happening there. Helenius really just got this fight by default. Nobody ahead of him other than Kownacki is available & as I said the 2 guys ranked behind him were already involved in another eliminator. Winner gets Hunter in a WBA final eliminator unless either of them get Charr or Bryan...
Exactly my point. How did Helenius got in the ranking? They already must have been informed that he is in the running for a Kownacki fight. Just like DDD last opponents. They have done nothing to be anywhere near the rankings.
I cannot support this sort of corruption as a boxing fans, some fans are naive enough to though. Good luck to those fans.
