The standards of being an FOTD dropped significantly I agree. The last FOTD had to climb 10 weight classes, win 7 of them and become lineal for 4 of them while winning the FOTY 3 straight years.

While the current FOTD only has to fight half the decade.

The landscape has changed. Nel o might only have to fight 5 years this decade and they might take into consideration his wins over gg g and kovakev as bwa a didn't take anything nel o did into consideration last decade.
