OK, so the press` opinion can be respected when it favors Canelo, but it's dismissed when it's anti Canelo?As far as boxers and trainers, I guess we can also dismiss that lennox Lewis, Daniel Jacobs, Paulie Malignaggi and teddy atlas also had ggg winning the rematch right?

Do you realize there is a list of over 50 boxers and trainers who had canelo winning ?

Most notable fighters and trainers who expressed their opinion thought canelo won, meanwhile media members thought GGG won (if you know anything about GGG's history this shouldn't be hard to figure out why).

The media loves ggg! He gives interviews to everyone and is really likeable in person. While Canelo isn’t. I’ve seen Canelo in person and won’t even go near him. GGg you can approach almost all the time.

So yes that’s why the media and casual fans had ggg winning. I didn’t but I score fights round-by-round....

Exactly, Tom loeffler and abel Sanchez made an effort to befriend and pay media members for years as well. Of course HBO did all they could to make him big name too. Ever since 2013 there has been a constant sob story with GGG. Media have been trying to push GGG into super stardom, they basically all came together as a collective to cheerlead for him. I have never seen anything like it.

A win over Canelo was supposed to vindicate the media's hype and obbsesion for GGG, a win in a huge fight against someone like Canelo was supposed to be payback for GGG being ducked for all those years.

Add that controversy with the first fight and the failed drug test, who do you think the media members would score a close fight for?
