btw, you still continue to ignore that Kovalev also fought just 10 weeks before facing Canelo and had a tough fight. You're trying overstate the danger Kovalev brought to the fight so you can make Canelo look better. He was clearly fighting not to get tired and had nothing on his punches. Why do you think canelo was a 4-1 favorite? It's not because he's all that great. It's because Kovalev was vulnerable. Honest question, do you think canelo would've ever fought Kovalev if he still looked like the guy that nearly murdered pascal? Canelo consistently picks guys who look vulnerable before facing them.

I'll always hate Canelo. But it doesn't mean that what I'm saying is inaccurate. Is it false that the majority of big name opponents he's faced in his career have been 35 and older? (mosley, mayweather, Cotto, ggg, Kovalev) Is it false that ggg, Kovalev, jacobs, Chavez Jr and khan all looked unimpressive in their fights prior to Canelo picking them? Is it false that he dropped his title instead of facing either ggg or Charlo when they were mandatories? Is it false that he tested positive for PEDs? Is it false that the wbc gifted him his very first title and also created the franchise title so that he wouldn't have to face mandatories? Is it false that he's had multiple ridiculous scorecards in his favor but never 1 bad scorecard against him? All valid reasons to dislike a fighter.
