In fact, no one on pac's can confirm when the injury it took place. One minute, it was before but then they said it happened after the 4th round, then arum said pac always had shoulder issues, etc. Conflicting stories

Canelo, when he fought Floyd, had been a champion longer and had more title defenses than Thurman did at the time he fought Manny.

Shane was ranked p4p and hadn't been inactive as much as Thurman had been inactive before fighting Manny. Cotto, even diminshed, was better than Thurman.
