I understand why all the pac fans are really mad.
Now that Floyd has a FOTD award, plus a win over Manny, plus and undefeated record, there is no way anyone can plausibly argue Floyd isn't the better of the 2.
When Manny had the FOTD award and Floyd didn't, they could use that to say Manny was Floyd's equal even though Floyd beat him. Now, that is over.
It's been a fun 10 years pac fans but today it all ends. Manny is officially and forever behind Floyd.
New decade. Time for new debates and new discussions. The Floyd/Manny debate is over.

For all you low-IQ types who like you who cry about biased journalists, I'd think some of you would get it. All you b!tches crying about Steve Kim, Doug Fischer, and the like being biased. You think there are no biases just because it's BWAA? It's made up of "writers" who work for biased periodicals and networks like Ring, ESPN, Showtime, etc., along with some other obscure rags.
Shine that trophy the same way you shine Floyd's knob you mouth-breathing phag.

But it sets a dangerous precedent. All you need is a good 5 years, then you can literally retire, so don't get any losses, or look bad against people you should on paper beat. I mean if Floyd lost to Khan in year 2017 would be be fotd?
But we'll done floyd, they didn't forget you
You should learn another lesson here but you wont, you will just spin around and start yapping again like a dog chasing its tail.
How Floyd was not going to win was the thing, he beat the only guys against him and had a better resume than anyone else in half the decade, it was ALWAYS what you did inside the decade not you had to fight for 10 yrs.
Floyd Mayweather is by far the best fighter of this generation its not even close.

Floyd is retired so it is Floyd that is still behind Manny in greatness. And floyd is moving further back in the greatest of all time p4p rankings each year.
If you were not such a bias Manny hater and thought logically like most people do. You would see all over social media other than nsb platform that the population is sadden by the outcome.
Because people know he didnt deserve it, and that his contributions of large amounts of cash to the BWAA could have had a per swaying role in the outcome.

- only fighter to hold a world title in 4 different decades. does floyd have that??
- oldest welterweight champ. floyd doesn't have this achievement.
- 8 weight champ 5 weight lineal champ. again floyd doesnt have this
- 2nd fighter (behind foreman) in history to win a world title 20 years apart?? floyd doesn't have this.
- only 4x welterweight champ in history. floyd doesn't have this achievement
- PAC beat more current, former and future champs than floyd
i could keep going. PAC will be ahead of floyd always.
floyd beat an injured PAC, and the only accomplishment he has that PAC doesn't is being/retiring undefeated.

Definitively a better choice than Canelo.
For many reasons he deserves it. He was a great fighter.
But he also did bad things. He was protected by the refs, fought dirty many times and never got a warning for excessive clinching, and forced some fighters to use pillow gloves and didn't admit it.
But he's better than Canelo defo, which was the other clear candidate.

canelo was very very green and drained, PAC had an injury going into the fight.
BWAA compromised and corrupt like the rest of boxing. no surprise.
